A little about me…
I was born in Lincoln, NE where I had an exciting childhood full of riding my bike to friends’ houses for late night games of hide & seek, constantly competing for the starting short stop on my baseball teams, lots of Call of Duty, and filling my cup full of experiences with the people I care most about. I attended college at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where my love of new adventures, lasting friendships, and pursuit of happiness was bolstered. I joined Beta Theta Pi where I lived alongside and became friends with dozens of young men that continue to inspire me everyday. I met my amazing girlfriend, Alex, who is one of the kindest, funniest women I’ve met and who keeps me grounded when my head gets stuck in the clouds. In college I branched out and served on committees within the University Program Council, was a researcher, photographer, and videographer on the National Student Advertising Competition, and in the summer of 2017 I traveled to Sydney, Australia with my lifelong best friend for the most incredible study abroad experience anyone can ask for. Like all great things, college came to an end when I graduated in May of 2018. I moved to Omaha, NE where I continue to grow my photography business and meet amazing people like you.
Pretty early on in life I had a desire for documenting experiences because 1) I knew I had all these great experiences with friends that I had only vague memories of and 2) I’ve always been pretty aware of our impermanence here which motivates me to make the most of each day and capture these moments for as long as I have left. Throughout the years I’ve come to find that the same satisfaction I have documenting life coalesces perfectly with the joy I get from fostering awesome experiences with people and giving them beautiful pictures of themselves and their families to hold onto for life. Time is our most valuable resource and pictures are little slivers of it that can never be taken away. I couldn’t hold my job in a higher regard because of that and I realize the tremendous trust my clients are putting in me to capture them in whatever point they’re at in life.
I'm a sucker for meeting awesome people and getting to the core of what makes them tick. This curiosity for people and passion for genuine connection impacts the way I see the world, who I surround myself with, and how and why I take pictures. If you want to feel free to show your truest personality and walk away with beautiful pictures to last a lifetime, I’m your guy.
